Ok, this vessel had a major restoration by the owner, who also ran the marina, back in 2001. It so happens the owner of this vessel was working for the marina where this boat was actually made from, back in 1947--called Robinson Marine Construction company. The firm built many government vessels for the Coast Guard, Army and PT Navy boats from 1940-1945, then passenger boats until 1960 when they stopped building boats. .Robinson Marine Construction was in Benton Harbor, Michigan and I actually have newspaper clippings of that facility back then. Our marina is adjacent to that marina. This vessel was in the water being used in 2015, then winterized and stored for 2016. Didn't go in water this year. Engine both run and hull soaks up in a day or two. It does now have a portion of the aft port transom, just above waterline that is rotten. The main hull seems to be good-but I'm not a surveyor-which you may want to hire. This had a mojor restoration in 2001 and was in pristine shape then. Last owner let it get away from him and need new paint and some wood work, but worth a look. Both engines have always fired up and ran--inline 6cylinders (updraft lincolns or continentals I think? Hope someone wants a project-but this is do able, if you have the time.
